What is self love all about anyway? Why a WHOLE MONTH of self love? How to care for yourself if you’re having an off day?
I’m talking about all of that and more in the video! Plus I’m sharing a simple mantra breathing technique the you can use to help re-center yourself if things just aren’t working the way you would like them to!
Remember… Self love is all about finding small ways to practice self-care every day!

Write yourself a love note! You’d be surprised at how good it will make you feel! As Buddha once said, “You yourself, as much as anybody in the entire universe, deserve your love and affection.”

Today’s Self Love tip – Go outside and get some fresh air. Connect with nature for a few minutes. It’s a beautiful way to feed your soul.

Be sure to take the time and enjoy a sunset every once in a while! Today’s self love tip – Give yourself permission to NOT do something that really don’t want to do!

Sorry, no video today. I had a touch of food poisoning last night and I decided that it was in my best interest not to force myself to do a video when I am not feeling at all well. (I’m practicing yesterday’s self love tip!)
Today’s self love tip is to “Pay it Forward with a Random Act of Kindness” What? You may be thinking that benefits others – exactly!! When we give to others, whether that’s a smile, a gift, a donation…. we feel good inside! I call it a DOUBLE BLESSING of LOVE!

Self care is a powerful form of self love. When was the last time you got a hair cut or a mani-pedi? Or did something as simple as take a long, fabulous soak in the tub with a glass of wine?

No question about it, my 3 day silent retreat was truly and act of self love for which I am most grateful. What are you grateful for? A beautiful practice is to begin and end your day with gratitude. Who can you reach out to and give thanks to for the difference they make in your life? And. if you find yourself judging someone, why not take a step back and choose to bless them with loving kindness?

Surround yourself with people who love and support you, people who make you feel good! Today’s tip is to unfriend and unfollow anyone on Social Media who isn’t lifting you up!

Today’s self-love tip was inspired Dr. Christiane Northrup while I was watching a video she recently did to promote her new book, “Making Life Easy”. Stop Worrying! Great advice, right? Just not so helpful in most cases!
Here’s a simple prayer/mantra that can help make a tremendous difference to your worry and anxiety levels. “Please heal my fear based thoughts.” (Be sure to watch the video – I go into a lot more detail about using this technique effectively!)

Find some time to let loose! Sing in the car, play the music loud. Dance around the house, dance in the shower! Do something that lights you UP!!

How well do you receive a compliment? Too often we deflect a compliment or immediately look for a way to reciprocate. Why not simply allow yourself to receive that compliment and just say “Thank You!”? Learning to receive graciously is a beautiful act of self-love!

Sitting is the new smoking! Get up , get out of your chair and move around regularly. Your health will thank you for it! And, turn off the TV. Read a book that’s going to feed your soul!

Create a God Box for all of your worries and concerns. If you don’t have a God Box, that’s ok! Just take the time to write down all your worries and concerns so that you can just give them to The Divine! Tomorrow we’ll be talking about a “Burning Ceremony” for those worries and concerns. Stay tuned!

The Winter Solstice is the PERFECT day for a “Burning Ceremony.” A “Burning Ceremony” will help you release what you don’t want to take into the New Year with you.

What I wonderful present I received from my husband Michael – a “Lovetuner” – it’s a mindfulness tool. A single tone flute that aligns ourselves with the 528 Hz frequency, the Love Frequency. Celebrate every day. Eat pizza off your fine china, wear that special scarf, drink your morning orange juice from a champagne flute, put on that special dress just because it makes you feel good!

Today’s self love tip – feed your soul by reading good, inspirational books. Fill yourself with the things that make you feel great!

Today’s self love tip was inspired by a very good friend of mine who’s been on a massive de-cluttering mission – chose something, even if it is a small something, and clean out the clutter. You will feel so much lighter. Plus, you will make room for all of the new things you want in in your life.

Have a little splurge for yourself! No need to spend a fortune. Just do something special for yourself to show just how much you appreciate YOU!

Today’s self love tip is to do something new or in a different way. Take a different route to work, put your yoga pants on with the “other” foot first, try writing with your “other” hand. Today’s self love tip ties in beautifully with yesterday’s! Be spontaneous! I’ve heard the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again expecting a different result, so be spontaneous and do something fun today!
