Remember the Tasmanian Devil from Looney Tunes cartoons? As a child, it was hilarious to see him go from completely calm to an absolute spinning frenzy in seconds flat.

As an adult, I sometimes feel like my anxious mind is doing the same thing—spinning out of control at the slightest provocation. It’s not so funny when it’s your own emotions. You feel powerless, like your feelings have a mind of their own.
