I am a proponent of LOVE and PEACE and COMPASSION and refuse to meet anger and hatred in kind. I am finding such comfort in the wise words of His Holiness The Dalai Lama and Archbishop Desmond Tutu in The Book of Joy. I highly recommend it!
Holiday Stress + Fear and Anxiety
Thanksgiving already brings up stress and anxiety anyway– for many of us, the family gathering is anything BUT a Norman Rockwell painting.
Lots of people are wondering if the holidays are going to be cloaked in fear or love. Due in large part to recent events this year, there very well may be some unexpected knockdown-drag-out fights at the holiday table – especially if family is involved. Life WILL throw us curve balls. But when we know that ahead of time and have tools at the ready, we can maintain our balance inspite of the chaos and uproar swirling around us.
